Picture Me Here, commissioned by Nike sports wear, is an editorial series created by Middle East Archive and inspired by the spirit of old photo studios across the region. It reflects a timeless desire to be seen, celebrated, and held in a moment.

In its latest iteration, Middle East Archive explores the theme “My Home Is Your Home” (Beit Beitkom, البيت بيتكم).

Spending a day in Qanater outside Cairo, Middle East Archive collaborated with Mariam El Gendy, alongside local artists, to capture friends, neighbours, and community members before a backdrop that evokes the multi-layered textures of belonging: a quiet garden pathway framed by lavender curtains that opens like an invitation into another world.
